Welcome Book Influencers of all kinds! If you're as tired of not getting paid for your hard work as I was, then you've found the right place. Authors have already grown accustomed to paying for Book Tours, but many companies keep those fees to themselves. Your rewards for tours may not be a whole lot, but they're something, and I have prices that are similar to other tour companies, except that you get a portion too! Below is some information about what rewards you can expect, and you have the freedom to sign up for tours as you choose. Bookstagram is where a lot of Book Tours initially started, so I expect this to be the most popular category! For every photo post promo or cover reveal on your instagram account for a tour, you will receive $10 USD, and for every reel, you will receive $15 USD.
Minimum Requirement: 1K Followers and Average 150+ likes

BookTokers
BookTok has revolutionized the way that books are marketed, so this category will be very sought after! For every TikTok video promo or cover reveal posted for a book tour with us, you will receive $15 USD.
Minimum Requirement: 1K Followers or Min Average 500 Views

BookTubers
Booktube is a very niche category, but those who swear by BookTube will stay forever loyal! For every cover reveal and promo video you post on your BookTube (45 second minimum, can be in a larger video), you will receive $15 USD.
Minimum Requirement: Average 500 views, 1K subscribers

Book Bloggers
The original Book Influencers are the Book Bloggers! You started it all, and your blogs are coveted by your readers! You will receive $10 USD for every cover reveal/promo post on your blog for one of our tours.
Minimum Requirements: 500 Newsletter Recipients and/or Average 500 views
All Influencer Expectations and Rewards
The following are expected of all Influencers regardless of platform, and are also the rewards you will receive after your hard work!
Monetary Reward
Depending on the type of post and/or review, and your platform, you'll receive monetary rewards in USD.
Post on Scheduled Day
You will only receive a reward for posts that are scheduled, confirmed, and posted on the scheduled day and that follow expectations!
Free Books
You will receive an ebook or physical copy of every book you have a tour with, based on your preference and availability!
Payment Access
Payments will be made through Paypal or direct transfer. These will be accompanied by pay stubs and should be mentioned on your taxes! This is the only way to be paid!
Great Content
All required info will be provided, along with summaries, high res cover images, and more so your content is ready to go!
Reviews?
In the City Book Tours is not paying you to review. We simply require a promo post or cover reveal depending on your tour and platform. However, should you choose to review, when writing reviews for tours, they should be thoughtful, and if you end up hating a book we ask if you could simply post a promo for the tour post, without the review. If you choose to post a low review, that's your prerogative, but it can hurt the author, so keep that in mind! If you choose to review on a site beyond your social media site, always include the fact you were given free books, label your posts as ads, and only post to third party review sites like Storygraph, as posting to sites like Amazon can go against terms of service, as paid exchanges should be in the editorial review section, controlled by the author,
